Her spirit lingers
Softly, without asking
Forgetfulness keeps her safe
Her desire hangs
Imaginary lights fading
Solitude is wherever she roams
Her voice weakens
In the night sky
Just a silent echo of what once was
No light can guide her now
She must find her own way
Or remain as a ghost in the fog
Her head falls
Limp, sorrowful and weary
A lonely seraphim, incomplete
Her face lifts
To the halo bearing down
As she remembers who she was

This sounds like it's about a fallen angel, trapped in somewhere like Limbo, or something. I liked it, very nice indeed. Best of luck in the contest!

This has a quiet sense of solitude about it...it makes us pause & ponder our own existence...there are many layers that require us to unveil our own thoughts in perspective...good imagery & verbiage, grand flow...well done...Thank you for sharing this part of yourself with us...Good luck in the contest...Be well, Poet...
