Historically it’s true that God often used a woman Deliverer to save.
It was Deborah with her army, and Queen Esther, that victory was paved.
Esther, known as Hadassah, grew up sheltered by her cousin Mordecai.
As an orphan she might have done things unruly, or that would mortify.
Esther was strong-minded, and disliked Persian culture, not of her kin.
Mordecai had great wisdom of counsel, yet reproved her now and then.
Most virgins would have given all to be chosen Queen over that kingdom.
Perhaps the way she lost her folks haunted her life, having fun seldom.
Afer all, she was chosen Queen after the king’s former wife was banned.
In ancient Susa, where she lived, they had many murders across the land.
This youth perhaps felt ‘nothing could console,’ for her misery of fate.
Then that Haman turned Nazi and tried to destroy all Jews for his hate.
This young Virgin won the King‘s heart, and defeated her people‘s foe.
Xerxes admired her humble flair, she glowed from her head to her toe.
Harem-life was a fact in Persia; that would’ve been hard to take in.
Coming from such a royal line, you’d think I’d know them in the end.
Racism has oft’ been on earth, from envy, right up to Cain’s jealousy.
I’d not known of Jewish blood in me; the line mixed with many you-see.
Biblical data in the Book of Esther is ‘poetic justice’ to say the least.
Haman had plans which boomeranged back-on his own head, at the feast.
Now, much is written of Queen Hadassah whose actions saved all Jews.
God does lift to heights the lowly; historically ascribing life's muse.
And to think, I followed this line ‘down to England’s royal domain.’
From thus, great presidents descend who chartered destiny’s claim.

Ah, thank you BonnieQ. Father use to speak to me often through the word (of Bible). And for many years the Lord would ask me, as the A-has-u-e-us or Xerxes did Queen Esther, "WHAT IS YOU WANT?" However, I'd often convey that I didn't know what I wanted. In fact it was only a few years ago that I realized what it was that I wanted. Once I made a covenant with Father, as asked Him to have someone in the church to minister to me as a sign that He agreed with that covenant. And a woman called me out, who had never been there before, and the first thing she said was: "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" My first thoughts were of what was spoken to Queen Ester; but I had no idea that I would find out that she was my ancestor of what's known as biblical times.
Anyway, this is the day that God has made we will rejoice and be glad in it. For even now, I rejoice in you "dearest Sister" for your kind and graciousness to me.
It seems only those who've paid a price, by sacrifice, can understand the marvels of God; for the cost does come with great aloneness. Take care, BonnieQ; God richly bless you.
Love and *hugs*, ~Milly

P.S. - There a great blog site that I use for my History poems and information, called “Genebase” where I go by the name HistoryQuill. You might like it, because it has lots of extras.

Excellent
Another excellent Bible story beautifully rendered by your fine poetic quill, Milly. This was such an enjoyable read and a great lesson of God's wisdom, for He chooses the lowly to represent Him. Well done!
Love and hugs, B♥nnieQ
