Not all that wander are lost
but all that search will find
not all that are lost want to be found
All that have found are no longer blind
So I ask myself, where am I?
Am I wandering? Am I lost?
am I searching? Have I found?
Am I blind or are my eyes just crossed?
I don't know where I am, but is that lost
I know I'm wandering I always am
I can see with my eyes but is that true sight?
I was indeed searching, and I found the lamb
The lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world
The lamb of God who died that I might live
The lamb of God who conquered death and sin
The lamb of God, the only one who can forgive
For God so loved the world that he gave the world his Son
And through his death and resurrection offers us this gift
Forgiveness, life, mercy, grace, peace, and Paradise
Not because of the deeds and works we can lift
but because of the sin that Christ carried on himself
because of the love the Father has for us through his sending
Christ into this world to take our sin and guilt so freely
That now our joy may be purely never ending
This is freedom from sin, death, and the power of the devil.
This is given without an attachment of any kind.
This is grace, this is mercy, this is love.
This is peace, this is joy, this is what I find.
