I am in awe! each time I see the sea,
it's beauty and power mesmerizes me.
Let Gods creation cleanse my spirit,
it's salt air mist invigorates when near it.
The sound of waves rippling to the shore,
gives my soul a calming like never before.
I can sit for hours on end meditating,
staring at it briny waves change rotating.
The vastness of its horizon stretching eternally,
boggles the mind and delivers restful ecstasy.
If I'm not feeling grounded,my balance just not right.
I only have to come see the sea to know it's alright.
There is a power who created such wonder to partake,
I'm only a minute amount of sand in heavens display.
Issues I might have with troubles in this world,
are not mine alone to bare, I'm again just a little girl.

Thank you to all those who have commented on this piece. And it's so much more than just a write. It is indeed a clearing and cleansing of my spirit to come to the shore and just find relaxation staring across the horizon of the sea. My burdens seem to be left inside the car that brought me there. It's sort of like comming home to see my mother. Something of power and consistancy that welcomes me with open arms.Everytime. Might not seem such if I lived next to it everyday. But I'd sure love to find that out. Because it might be the best I've ever been at peace in this life,to be part of the whole of creation in this life on earth.I'm a lover of the seashore. Never having ventured out on it as yet.Could even feel better yet.Ha! Anyways, thanks to all the lovely positives it seems to of inspired.~~Suseann

Brilliantly presented point of view which so easily flows in gentle rhyming and tender line. This makes want to bail from work, play hooky and drive to the seashore. Blessings and best wishes, ~richard
