A moment of silence
instead of a prayer?
Don't mention His name.
Pretend He's not there.
Throw out His Good Book.
Break all His rules.

Do you think He answers
the silence of fools
who've corrupted their way
and made their own rules,
who have no regard
for His Holy Name?

In this moment of truth
does He know your name,
as you sit there wondering
who is to blame
He's speaking now to
your heart it's true

what in the world will you do?
How great is His patience,
His mercy, His love,
So great that He sent
His ONLY SON from above
to lay down His life
to set our souls free
Oh my, my
what a blessed world are we.
In a moment of truth
He'll light up the sky
Will He know your name
or just pass you by
Pray for salvation
why wait in defiance
and lose your own soul
.... in a moment of silence.

This is a wonderful poem. Great use of words and you rhyme them-
what a message to so many who need to cry out to Him.
