Scarlet Waters

Scarlet waters,
Washed away the murky depths of pain,
Encasing the ship in melancholy dreams,
Lay siege to the nights encore,
And every last coral crumbled and shed,
Faces lay beneath the moonlit oysters,
And wallowed in their own wavering graves,
Lay side by side,
With the fish they had trailed to see,
The hand wavered and lowered its offence,
Adding one more tragic tale to the chain,
But the barrel should have known,
That although bullets rip into flesh,
They can’t tear untainted love,
Beneath the moonbeams shadows,
There is one last smile to share,
And two more intertwining spirits,
Kiss the gloaming air.

there is a lot of imagery in this. great description and amazing like ever. my favourite line is "There is one last smile to share," my least favourite line is "With the fish they had trailed to see," because it is more ... factual. sorry i had to do that. very good, sorry this isn't much of a comment luv your best friend x x x
