Flautist

An eager young flautist from Crewe
Used to practise his scales in the loo,
While his father and mother
Two sisters and brother
Danced outside in an agonised queue!

Author notes

US readers please note: "loo" is UK-speak for what I think you call the "john".

This is hilarious. I know I read this in the past and commented, but I enjoyed it again, so I figured it deserved another comment. Congrats on the gold trophy.

Limericks are a favourite of mine and I agonised with the family queue here.Maybe the lock should be on the 'outside'

    Rx: Busses, blissful busses

    Dear Vera,
John here! Or Lou! Or whatever my friends call me these days.
Hope you are on the mend and feeling weller.
At first I thought this was your own contest and then got conscious again.
The link below is to the only Limerick I've written in my entire life. So I guess I can rightfully say that it is the most hilarious one too!
I keep you in my thoughts and prayers, no charge, and look for you on the site when I'm on. I know that He/She is listening to me because praying for me is such an anomaly it shouldn't be missed, not in this world or that one.
Be well, and thanks for keeping Rule 65 well and alive!
