Broken Girl

Tainted wings burning bright
Eyes of a lost soul painfully tortured
Scared and torn apart clearly dead with pain
Who can honestly help her?
Thrown around like an old rag doll
Never truly deserved what she got
Beaten and bruised
Tired of holding onto her life
Desperately searches for a way out
No choice but suicide
But suicide doesn't’t seem right to her
She’s prolonging a death that seems to creep closer
Hoping she can slip away unnoticed
Invisible is what she pleads to be
Waking up every night crying for her life
Wishing she could change it somehow
Her dead heart doesn't’t care anymore
Now more then ever she wants to let go
Believing life is worse then death
That nothing can be helped, nothing will change
She is alone and unwanted
An outcast striving to survive
She has been hurt too many times
Nothing can change her back
Nothing to heal her wounds
Nothing to put her back together
Blood dripping from her arm
Her only escape is in the blade in her hand
And the blood filled cuts dug deep in her arms
Who can honestly help this broken girl?
