It’s something about the way your eyes dance with me
how they spark subtle but intense and
oh, it’s so easy to close my eyes
and see you loving me so well.
I want to keep this for us
we each need a secret, but me?
I’ve found mine
And somewhere, between sun-kissed roses and mock closet fumbles,
I hide this
til you’re smaller, getting smaller, but I still see
your eyes glinting in the darkness,
that utter want you try to mask
as though I can’t see how
your body yearns to curve around mine,
or lusty twin pupils, dilated for me.
I flash a coy smile, maybe murmur to you
‘Soon.’

This is a playful spin on lust. Your words demonstate the description of the ever present sexual dance that takes place before the actuall encounter. Sometimes the dance is more fun and exciting than the resulting finale! Great Poem! Peace be with you.

This was a good one. I liked it a lot. It was easier to read than the last ten I have read. Thank you for that alone.

Very interesting write - can feel your desires through these lines. Coyness is a biut like flirting, isn't it? Sentiments well expressed, easy to read and understand.

um, kind of gorgeous.
