Cottage Cheese

I like cottage cheese
Give me some if you please!
It tastes so good in my mouth
Especially the stuff from the south


It tastes like the explosion of the sun
Kinda like the feeling I get when I’m on the run
So luscious, juicy, delicious, and good
Something I would eat all day long if I could


I like to eat cottage cheese everyday at noon
Eating that scrumptious stuff with a greasy spoon
Cottage Cheese is better than chocolate cake
And even superior to a juicy steak


This poem tells about how much I love cottage cheese
Even if it comes from a long way overseas
So if you don’t believe this lie is true
Then ask me if I’ll share some with you

I actually don't like cottage cheese, but I did think it would be funny to write a poem about it. I mean, honestly... how many times in your list have you read a humorous poem about eating cottage cheese? So hopefully I entertained you for at least 3 minutes.  

No chocolate cake was harmed in the development process of this poem.

    You're a hoot. I love cottage cheese but I don't think I would pass up chocolate cake for it LOL. This did humor me for three minutes so YIPPPEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

    It was pretty good. I once read a poem where this chick wrote about coffee. I thought she was weird before but it was just literally "redefining the term weird."

    You remind me of that chick.


    I don't remember her name (I don't think I want to)

    But i'll just call her Miss.Coffee-fantastica.


    Okay, seriously, ANYWAYS.

    LOL! well, you made me lauahg. The poem has a very good flow and rhyming. I don't know what inspired you to write about......of all things.....cottage cheese, but it's great! Good luck in the contest! oh, and by the way, is it a southeren thing, because I LOVE it!

    This is so awesome! I love it. We like cottage cheese too, I have four kids, so when we eat cottage cheese, I have to buy three of them. My kids chow down on this stuff!! My 3 year old calls it, cotta cheese. Anyway, I like this, I enjoyed reading it and it made me smile! I wish you the best of luck in the contest!
