Silenced Windows of the Soul

The silenced eyes are windows to the soul, purvey within them and they show.

Shrouded revelations guarded there,
buried deep in melancholic pains despair.
At times a reflective compassionate  mirror,
flood with tears of sympathetic flaming sears.

Stared blank silence assumed aloofness,
burn with heartfelt feelings in stifled
truthness.
Never take a silence of voice for blank,
still watered depths sing symphony in fact.

Had some doubts of usage in aloofness myself. So I check a dictionary:aloofness

n 1: indifference by personal withdrawal; "emotional distance" [syn: distance] 2: a disposition to be distant and unsympathetic in manner [syn: remoteness, standoffishness, withdrawnness]

Short but sweet. Congratulations on writing the first entry I've read whose background isn't soaked in darkness. It's a nice step into some sunshine. The poem flowed nicely and you put me in a good mood becuase this is the first poem I've seen that uses the word "aloofness"

I've seen especially in the young where they talk only with their eyes - as if waiting for you to hear them without words. You've captured this concept.

This is great. I like the fact that the poem comes with a picture. The imagery you portray is captive. Great peice!
