A sad smile swept his eyes
As tears fell from the sky.
The Gods of Thunder cleared their throats
To sing a lullaby.
A star struck angel fell from heaven
And landed here on earth.
Through tragedies and chances foul
She lies now beneath the dirt.
Her sparkling eyes and shining smile
Could soothe a troubled heart.
She knew no danger, fear or pain
Before her and earth did part.
