Amazing. I love the form, it sort of underlines the title - without even having to read the poem (which I did of course). I'm trying to decide which line I like best but it's a hard thing to do - all of them would be the best answer probably!
    Great job.

Great job in capturing the essence and spirit of the "still life" in words. Masterful work, typical of what you are so capable of doing. Good luck and best wishes.

Not only are you a germ, but your form looks like a double-headed mosquito... it's like three for the price of one! Woohoo!

Well I had the same mindset as Chilly, especially with the word "colonize." makes me think the same thing. But also how some emotions can do that. Sometimes even without our knowledge.

    Thanks for entering.

Living in Missouri with all of its caves, I have seen many of these beautiful calcite deposits, but I would have never thought to associate them with an emotion. But thinking about it, it does make me think of a sort lonliness one would feel even in a room full of people. Very well done. As always, I enjoy your work immensely!!!
