My Inner Mind

Aggrevation, desperation, isolation
    An empty soul seeded deep
     Fear the only semblance
      Of the pains I keep
       Running rampant
        Afraid to live
             Love.

             Love,
         Afraid to live
        Rampantly running
       The pains I shall keep
      Resembling all  the fears
My empty soul is seeded deep
With aggravation, desperation, isolation

Author notes

Put to another challenge by a friend, I was asked to write something that is reflective of itself from one stanza to the next.  The challenge was specificaaly to shorten the terms and revers for the second part.

I am totally unaware of any technical names that may exist for this type of writing, so for now I am just calling it a simple reflected hourglass.

If there is anyone out there that knows if this form exists and what the heck it's called, I'd appreciate the heads up.  I am supposed to write three of these for this week.  Let's see if I can pull it off.

Better yet, let's hope, once the post goes through, it actually looks like the hourglass it's supposed to, lol.
