Moonlite Night

I stand in the glow of the wonderful moon.
Her light washes over my long auburn hair.
I long to know of the power she holds.
For she is the moonlite power in my dreams.

She guides me to the wonderful world,
on beams of light, colorful like the rainbow.
She leads to a world where there is always hope and light.
There are mystical creatures of every shape and color.
Flowered scents perfume the air.

But I must wake with the morning light,
mourning the loss of the wonderful glow,
the moon in its brightness.
I wish for the landscape of a autumn's moonlite night.
I spend the day daydreaming waiting for the time
the time when I can be back under the moonlite night.
