A Ring Intaglio

*                      What am I,
              you may ask! A ring for
          your finger at best. I can do a
      special task. Other rings are only glitz.
    I'm a face or      figure that's countersunk.
  Opposite              of cameo. I've  got  alot
  of spunk.                Yes! Me - Intaglio. I come
in rings                      and  other  things;  that
people                      wear for  ^  ^    fashion.
  From                        ancient  (0) (0)  days to
current                      times,                jewelry
with a                      purpose    (L)        and a
passion.                    I could                  be a
gem or                    stone      (++++)    even
a piece                    of glass.          You can
  pick the                ring  also, gold, silver,
    platinum              or  brass.  Melt a bit
      of candle wax, for my image to see.
            Be ready to press fast, now
                look - Hey! It's me.

Author notes

This is what inspired my name - I bought an intaglio ring and gave it a spin and got my name: intanglio2ring

    Oh!! I never heard of that kind of ring!

    NOW, I shall google the word and see what one looks like! I thought maybe your name came from a ring around a planet or something. WONDERFUL POEM ... oh my goodness, look at what you did! Admiring here!

    Dear Bleeding Glitter xX,
    Thanks for enjoying the figural of my ring. This was the inspiration for my AP name - because I had a brass one.
    The rings are still available and reasonably priced!
    I appreciated your wonderful compliments.

    I stay far away from this sort of work mostly because I get frustrated when what I envision is beyond the reality of the pieces out come. I do like this it shows imagination and passion for your art. About the best I can do is circles so I admire your capabilities as well. I'll be sure to check out the others as soon as time permits.

    Yours,

    My user name is Intanglio2ring - hence the Ring Intaglio - It was used for marking wax on letters - or clay tablets of long ago. Thanks for reminding me of the authors box.
