Marathon

I find myself in a different place.
Which means I've found the time to think of where I am.
Which means I've stopped running.
Which means I can once again look at myself--
and when I see what I am
and when I see what I am not
  I once again become terrified--
  and once again run.

Reminds me of Tom Hank's logic when he runs in the movie Forest Gump when he runs. This comes full circle and makes sense as it returns to the beginning. Short and to the point.

Again in this piece the use olanguage in a contemporary style makes for a good read. I am going to your author page and try to get a grasp on what makes you tick. RC

I said this when I commented your other pieces: I love the use of logic. Your poems remind me of abstract mathematical proofs. Everything comes together at the very last line. I really like your style.
