Let me out of this cycle...
Let me sleep and live without this ache
I never used to need someone
...but how could I love without secrets,
brushing kisses and silent promises,
holding hands until people come near, and
breaking away like we were just friends
it would always be concealed to avoid hurt
Please don't misunderstand me,
I'd rather others weren't alone...
I'm fine screaming in the dark...
but so many people have options
...I can't see any...
I have to get used to being alone,
Isolated,
I just can't help...
Should I change?
How long will I have to wait...
How would it go anyway?

I'm so tired of jokes EVERYWHERE...

I'm alone more than ever before
a constant ache inside...
entwined around my heart,
thorns restricting each beat
and I don't know how to fix it...
Is it too much to ask maybe...
to find someone who'd love me?
I guess so...
I know I don't have anything special about me
but I try so hard...
Who do I look for...they hardly exist

I'm sorry if my poems are getting a bit repetitive on the same theme...i don't know why it's such a big thing at the moment...but most of my poems are written when i need to let things out...thankyou to anyone who reads it*hugs*

I know exactly how you feel sometimes. I've been dating the same guy for a little over a year and it just feel like there are other things that are more important to him than me. Good job. It has true feeling.

Oh.. You don't need to apologize, dearie. Poetry is a wonderful way to release negative emotions. All I have to say is try not to worry about it too much. Teenagers can be horrible people. You are an amazing, wonderful person; and I know for a fact that you will find someone who loves you.
