When I am not with you I succumb
To the world and all I can see.
You love me no matter what I do
You gave me life and set me free
To achieve the goodness you deserve
You did not desert me but left your decree
Of right and wrongs and now you observe.
You never left me alone though
You maybe watching but your with me all the way
You never leave me by myself or without your love
Even when I am lost to the worlds sway
Your always there waiting to show me the way above.

So i was reading a friends LJ post and i was just hit with the urge to write a poem about "HIM" or God.

This is my favorite part too beth, This is such a great poem about you love and need of God, This is truely an amazing poem, keep up the good work, -
