Death Comes Smiling

Sympathetic tears, silencing my chaotic nightmares; Tonight is the last night and slumber seems so pointless. Asinine criticism, clouding thoughts of gray; Intentions not yet fulfilled, promises and dismay.  Child like assumptions, tomorrow I will smile. Forget to turn the lights out, lay with me and die for a while. Creeping in so smoothly, betrayal at it’s best. Nothing more than lethargic ramble, you’ve put my morals too the test. Unjust yet justified, clinically insane. “Paranoia, paranoia” whispers so inane. Lending a fragile hand, I’ll be your beautiful let down. Rip you from your pleasures, without making a sound. Creating such a lie, in which I can no longer disguise. Please take one more taste, as we watch the world’s demise.

Author notes

Another write in which you will not make sense of, another moment of wasted efforts on my part, to explain my inner emotions which in fact have no true definition *heh*... lol A shout out too JadedStardust (love you man) for thinking of a title for this piece!!
