Here I am alone, in the silence, of your truth
GOD, you have found...though to me, he was never lost
Now you preach to me of the goodness,light and the glorious plan he has
for you, the sinner, and me, the sin
GOD forgives, what we will never forget
there was a time when we were, more than friends, less than spouses
and better than all than we should have been
GOD knows and so do I

    Sweet Denna,

    I have to say that I am with Catressa on this one. I am not really sure what part it was that touched my heart in a very special way, but it did. By the time i finished reading, I had tears in my eyes. I guess that this really gets me cause I am currently going through a divorce and this just makes me think on my life. I am much happier now but still makes me think of my marriage. Thanks for sharing this with us.

    I REALATE!

    This is so real for me Deena. I could have written the first two lines. I read them over and over to make sure what I was feeling was what you had written. It is, and visa versa. We have to talk sister/friend. Trouble in Paradise always needs a friendly ear. Oh honey! I will call you tomorrow about this one. You just spoke my mind, and my heartbreaks to have to hear it. This is raw and cutting!

    This poem is strong with a deep meaning ...maybe of conviction...maybe of wisdom....or maybe a mixture of both. I can relate...and I am sure I am understanding from where you are coming.
