Each person has a different explanation
Some of them make sense, some of them don't
All I know is all that I've seen
What is love, the meaning for me?
Love is painful, illogical, and unreasonable
It is happiness, it is bliss, it is safety in another's arms
But what is this that I have come to know?
Black tears spawned of mascara and fear
Blue ink born of passion and desire
Mixing together through this chain of broken hearts
Each pattern unique, no tear drop the same
Releasing the pressure, this pain and this rage
Every turn of events a labyrinth, a maze with no escape
As a dam once broken, these words unspoken
Fill my days and haunt my nights
Black tears run into blue ink
Creating dark and endless worlds
No amount of adjustment, alteration or change
Could ever erase the marks these tears have made

nice job...really dig that line "Black tears spawned of mascara and fear"....great wording and great concept there. Other great descriptions are dotted through the piece as well. A solid write for sure.

i really like this and it's sad that love can be so hard the best thing in life... why does it have to be so hard.
