willow of angels

as numerous as the leaves that grow up on it
they hang from it's naked branches
by their hands until they  chaf and fall
to the ground
their thin hands are cut by still thinner branches

Author notes

this is simply supposed to be an image poem, of small angels of some sort, hanging by their hands like kids do from monkey bars

    This is very unique, I love the imagery here. Yes it's short but I think it gets it's point across quite well. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Melody
