Sultry Diablo spreads across the hills,
in languished whispers vermilion steals.
Down the canyons in murmured wafts,
of innuendo of northern brisk trace.
In wisps of wonder excilerated breeze,
spans the valley's in genteel cool ease.
In rapturous allure of sweet scents sublime,
calling to my passionate heart enticed.
Faint soft whispers ,"come dance with me."
swirling fingers passing throught tree top leaves.
In absolution of evening's composure reprieve,
waltzing winds whisper like a lover of my fantasy.
"Come let us step with in swirls of romance,"
Diablo's criss cross of a northern canyon dance.

Diablo is a northern Califoria wind of evening.I'm not quite sure what is unclear about dancing with the wind poet. But thanks for commenting all the same.

The ending isnt quite clear to me but I like the idea of it. Nice piece

I was afraid my background might of caused a few difficulty viewing the text. Had one saved that would of worked better, but I wasn't able to size it down enough to use.And I know by the feed back to bold enlarge the text next time this is used. So please you enjoyed the poem's intended message though.LOL

OOooo...That was very lovely. Gorgeous imagery sent my mind twirling to your rhythm in a soft and soothing dance.
(I'm glad I bought my new glasses today so I could read your delicate presentation.) Hope you win the contest
Joy to you

felt so much as to hear the sweep of skirts as much a breeze as this poem danced along, Suseann. a lot of nice slant rhyme, that comes off very smooth and I don't know if the last two lines were part of some "quote" the contest leader may have required be part of the poem, but you did so well sliding this quoted line in at a very effective and difficult time of any poem--(the very closing of the poem itself) and really made it work!
best wishes to you in this contest, it's a great poem!
