I feel a delicate breeze upon my skin,
it gently pushes its way through sheer panels,
resembling outstretched Angel wings
Giving me shelter, and replenishing my hope
Whispering to me, untangling the rope,
that have entwined all my sins,
causing this darkness I'm in,
And in my nocturnal world,
I now feel light within
I feel no weight of the world
that has been left behind,
I no longer acknowledge the thoughts,
that creep into my mind,
I no longer feel anger,
towards ones who have done me wrong,
I have no need for resentment,
for ones that wished me harm
I am moving on,to a much better place,
and with your guidance,I know I will always be safe,
It is no longer a demon, everyday that I face,
I see sunlight ahead,and the past leaves no trace...

Thank you - I am going through this same thing right at the moment, so it was a bit of self reflection and a bit introspective peice and very easy to write. Now if only I could just take my own advise. Great topic - thanks for choosing this - perfect timeing for me!!

You have beautifully reflected Isaiah's words; for, indeed, when we cease to live in the past, preferring instead God's Light, we suddenly carry no burdens: fully released of all pain and rage, filled only with forgiveness and love for those who harmed us. Best wishes in the contest!
