Helpless And Dying

Breathing your last breath, Inviting in your death
Laying down inside your grave
Nameless forever, your soul will dissever,
No forces can help you, No one is so brave

It’s obvious you’re falling, yet your hopelessly crawling
Still you’re helplessly sprawled within your tomb
No matter how selfless, you’ll be rendered helpless
And no hero can deliver you from this merciless doom

Yes Death is inevitable, you cannot escape it
Not matter how quick, Nor how foolishly brave
There is no turning back
For your fate lies ahead of your grave

So quickly you’re falling, so hopelessly stalling
And helplessly crawling forever more
Softly you’re crying, yet calmly your dying
Death will reach to your innermost core

You’ll be tossed to the side, with your fate you’ll collide
For you’re destined to fall to your doom
Yes you’ll pass through the door and fall flat on the floor
And you’ll plummet straight into your tomb

Yes Death is inevitable, you cannot escape it
Not matter how quick, Nor how foolishly brave
There is no turning back
For your fate lies ahead of your grave

For its hopeless you’re dying, and now look, your crying
And soon you’ll be lying, you shall say your not dead,
So frantically falling and hopelessly stalling
For no one was calling, it was all in your head

You’ll die and you’ll hate it, and you can’t help or change it
No you’ll never awake in this world again
Its scary though isn’t it? There’s no fairy tale in it
No prayer can save you, nor a frantic amen

For this Death Is expected, you cannot escape it
No matter how quick, Nor how foolishly brave
There’s no turning back, for your eyes fade to black
And your fate waits ahead in your grave…

Nice write about facing the face of death. People don't like to think about it, maybe if they did, they would act somewhat different in the now of things.
