Your Smile
A smile spreads all through your face
from your fore head down to your chin it waves.
It comes across each side of your cheek,
showing me that my present makes you weak.
In the corner of those bright filled eyes
a few wrinkles appear as the smile arise.
A smile can be seen even in your ears,
as your cheeks fill up it pushes back fears.
Sometimes it shines for all to see
Sometimes it is their only for me.
So do not hide the smile I see
because when you smile it puts one on me!

This is such an uplifting poem, and it even put a smile on my face, too
..see
I love the way you've expressed yourself in this poem, it's a real feel good kind of write. It really is amazing what a little upward curve of the lips can do for a person... the one doing the smiling and the one receiving it. We should all do it more often. It's like a little miracle, and to some a big miracle. Thank you for helping make my day a good one with this lovely poem.

It's amazing how a smile can fill your heart with joy. It's such a simple act but oh so significant to the message it sends others.
Sincerely,
