The Clockwork Princess.

I have a Princess daughter from the distant Land of Iran,

Where friendship has flourished, since time first began.

She happily greets me often, at precisely the same time,

Her sweet messages are sunshine, some even rhyme !

She constantly waits for me, as I first appear on the line,

Inquiring how I am feeling today and if everything’s fine.

She is accurate like clockwork and right there on the dot,

Forever cheerful and happy, for at times I’m certainly not.

But making me more cheerful, with each heartening word,

Until I’m smiling and laughing, as my vision gets blurred.

Wow, another beautiful poem for my sista! I loved this one the most. I also live in Iran so I really like the verse you wrote about my country. I do agree with you with all of these lines you wrote for her. I’m sure she also appreciates this friendship you two have!
Thank you for sharing with us

Oh this is also a very sweet poem. Such a "warm and fuzzy" feeling is derived. You said this is about your... daughter? I'm sorry, but what does "AP daughter" mean exactly?

She is my AP daughter and I suppose there is possibility in what you say, but I was never game to broach the subject as I believe their email could be heavily censored like yours in the USA, and ours in Australia. I would love to know how the real Iran compares with what we are told about it from our side of the fence though.

Your sis in Iran probably leads a secluded Muslim woman life and treasures the time she spends in the outside world with you! A lovely tribute you pay to her! Thanks for liking my Fear and Grief poem..kind of but maybe true!

Ahhh what a lovely write for our dear daughter, Bazza Shahrzad has indeed flourished under our ever caring and watchful eye....she is indeed a daughter of which to be proud

Your poem is so sweet, Bazza and I see Shahrzad seems to think so, too. She confided in me that she's being spoiled, though.... maybe we ought to throw her a curve...lol

A very enjoyable write, and so true of her.

Aaaaw shucks maaam, thanks for that. My signature line is " A poem costs nothing and yet can buy so much" Anyway, I have several females of all ages who are treated just as well, since I started writing Shaz poems.

based on what you say, she seems like a very sweet person. We do need people like her in some form or another in our lives, just to brighten up our day with a kind word or a smile.
again, another sweet and precious poem. She must feel special, as she should.
(you seem like quite the character :-)

Kind words spoken to the soul, keep us living and out of the deep whole. Nice thoughts come rolling off your pen cheering and uplifting others has become your goal. I admire your love for others that is apparent within your heart.

Nicely written poem that beats along nicely.
