God, Did You Once Forget Me?

God,
I thought you once forgot me,
But you were there,
You wanted me to see that there is always,
Light,
No easy way through but always,
Guided by your light,
Now I can face the world,
Know that you care,
That I will never doubt,
Because you embraced me when I gazed upon the silent alter,
I returned,
And you gave wing,
To my allegance,
In serving you I am whole,
In preserving judgement for your knowlege,
I know,
There is light,
Where there is,
You.

I'm sorry if this doesn't seem to fit, it just felt like it did to me.

well this is certainly a non amber like poem! i'm glad i was sitting down when i first read it, my little atheist (sp? feeling kinda brain dead!!) friend this is, however, an exceptional poem for you (considering i know your views on the topic) and you have been quite believable. go you!!! lol! you've captured many peoples ideas of god very well here and tied them all together seemlessly. luv having commentung streak one x x x (i will be appluading this cos you were so believable!)

This is really good. It always takes something big in your life to change the way that you feel. I went through the same exact thing. I didnt believe at all until I met Duncan, my angel. To this day, even at the saddest of moment, I remeber that there is someone who loves me, and that he wants me here for a reason. Everyone has a reason to be here, most just cannot come to terms with it. Once you have, you will be happy.
