Pitiful Humanity

What gives you divine right of dominion of natural law.
Who died and made you Lord over creatures great and small.
Brute force is not intelligence, nor even close to smart,
upsetting nature's balance is suicide from the very start.

You can stand and say it's necessary you have family to feed,
but there's other ways besides destroying innocence in greed.
Your ugliness goes much deeper than you'd want to admit,
Satan holds a seat for you deep down in a the belly of hell's pit.

The human creature ugly that wears  traumatize animal skins,
displays contempt for his or her own kind and will rue in lament.
The mark of damnation in blood worn upon your vile back,
draws negativity towards you showing just the class you lack.

Condoning a murderer's act is as bad as the commited crime.
needed once food and warmth but no longer needs blind eyes.
Then you wonder why fated karmic justice levels against you,
never recalling your deeds of merciless destruction you do.

Life was never a divine right solely yours to plunder in greed.
The creator sees evil ways and marks every life you've seized.

                                ~~~Suseann~~~
    wow, this is quite powerful, but i think it needs to be due to the fact, people are slaughtering these poor animals. absolutly wonder poem. i think you definatly made the point of how selfish and horried the human-kind can be. this was
    intense, but absolutly great
    suseanne, my dream has always been to see a baby seal dressed in the skin of a human that clubbed one of theirs to death. There is nothing more gruesome and arrogant than human-kind and you illustrated this well. Best wishes in the contest,
    Of course, you are right. Sadly, life is hard and those who preach murder are many. Thanks for entering and good luck in the contest.
    Sadly, this is all too true. Andy's comment about there only being room for humanity is wrong though. There won't be room for humanity either the way people are breeding. I don't expect the human race to last into the next Century if this continues. I think they will render the planet uninhabitable.
    Humanity is often uncaring about the life forms who share this planet with us. Quite unfortunate. Soon most of the life forms will be extinct or limited to the zoo. There seems only space for humanity.
    Dear rockchic,I'm pointing out the evil of mans arrogance of dominion assumtion over the poor defensless baby seals.They club and strip their skins while still alive.Mother's cry in horror.If strong condemnation of evil bothers you,I'm sorry.But if that's whats needed to get the issue attention.I will!
    This is a good poem with well intentions, but reading this poem a question stayed lodged into my mind:
    How can you call these humans evil, and state they're going to hell, when you in turn are just as violently attacking them with your words?
    Honestly, you say they are murderers? Well your words didn't seem very peacefull either.
    I am not attacking you in turn, I just thought it was quite interesting as I was reading.
    Anyways, nice write.
    Sweet Sharon,I am one who sees virtue more in the animal kingdom even in it's viciousness of kill for food than the lowliness of human kill and earth destruction of his own habitat.Man envisions himself superior to animal even though his ignorance displays the opposite.~~~Suseann PS,THAT WAS QUITE BEAUTIFUL,YOUR COMMENTS BARE TRUTHS TO BE MOST VALID.
    Brilliance True Gold in Heart & Soul!
    Dearest Suseann,
    Thank you, your song is strong filled with wisdom and beautifully penned!
    I ventured out of body to bring these words to thee..
    Place these murderous acts on a page up close and personal.
    This is the only way the young will see the rape of Mother Nature for the sake of profit and green greed. Namaste Blessed Be, thank you once again for the divine inspiration you bring everyone always. Your beauty is timeless and your songs need to be heard across the darkness. Penned in crimson caring within a pure love for all of the Lords Creature above and below the sea.
    Oh, the tears in the baby seal pups eyes do weep
    How can these murderers fall silently to sleep?
    In such senseless and brutal deeds
    Makes you wonder in winter’s season
    Milky ashen tender babies lie
    In snows of white, skinned alive
    Holy and divine is your song indeed
    “There’s other ways besides destroying innocence in greed”
    Is this all they can see?
    I’ve walked this path and now standing here proud with you in the aftermath
    The sportsmen sharpen their clubs and reel in their monies
    Babies piled mountain high in their dastardly iniquities
    As you sow more of the Lords poetry seeds
    It is written and so shall it be
    The meek shall inherit the earth
    As we sing to Mother Natures Rebirth
    Where is the love in their hearts
    Can’t they see these tender creatures
    Have a right to live and breathe
    Just like you and me..
    A lone seal, pup wails softly
    Please remember me..
    I came forth from the sea
    We’ve all fallen prey
    To the clubs of mankind
    Today and yesterday..
    Maybe someday in a dreamers dream
    Love will find a way to halt the greed.
    But for now my beloved friend
    We’re dancing in a song that will never end
    Through the bright seas there are creatures singing
    They seek to help humanity even when we kill them senselessly
    Tis a vicious circle a paradox, and the time is ticking on the clock
    We leave these shores to our young children in the hopes and prayers
    They will do better than we’ve done, as we share our tears everywhere.
    Beautifully Penned my new old friend
    These words came to me spontaneously for you
    I am joyful you took a stand
    Your voice is needed across the lands
    We all need to sing as one in love and divine insight
    Ending the murders in the snows of vanished white.
