Once upon an Emerald Isle,
Dressed in various shades of green
Are leprechauns in suits and hats
But hardly, one is ever seen
They dash through tall, thick grasses
Colored hues of spring itself,
To hide among the mushrooms
Under a pinkish natural shelf
Running ever quietly,
Our ears will never hear,
Their giggles as they travel
Knowing we are very near
Go swiftly through the grasses.
One glimpse is all you need,
To catch a tiny leprechaun,
A lifetime friend indeed
For just one magic moment,
Once a year we're shown the way
To the pot of gold where they are found
On a March, St. Patrick's Day.

This is great, very good job. Two commas I don't think you need: But hardly, one is ever seen and
On a March, St. Patrick's Day. The second might be okay. I would try a dash. Otherwise light and fun.

This is really nice Jody, I think I'll promote it so more people will get to see it today, since it IS St. Paddy's Day.
