Unfinished Symphony

I wanted to write you a symphony
That way you could see
Just how much you mean to me
But not even the strongest words would do
Nothing could express my love for you
And even though I wanted to see it through
I had to put my pen away
Cause there are no words I could use to say...

“You’re everything I’ve ever wanted
Everything I’ve ever dreamed of
You’ve show’d me what it really means to be in love
And you deserve every star in the sky
Every drop of water in the sea
But all I’ve got to offer you is me
Along with my unfinished symphony”

So many words are swimming in my head
And here I am trying so hard to choose
But I guess even I know the truth
None of these words will I ever use
I can't use ‘gorgeous’
It’s almost like an insult to your beauty
And I can’t use ‘special’
Cause in reality you’re everything to me
So I guess this is how things must stay
Me not being able to find the words to say...

There is not a word in the world
That could tell you how I feel
But I have to give it a try
So you know my feelings are all real
I know there’s no way to finish my symphony
And I hope you don’t mind
And I hope that you can see
It’s not like I don’t care
It’s just the words aren’t there
So there’s no way for me to say...
