Keeper Of Sorrow

He’s the cloaking joy in the lining of grief
The Cross that splintered all sin
Inside out
Outside in

Eyes swell each time we turn
Small still voice breathless to bow,
Now never
ever now.

Close the door,
Come in and talk
Your abandoned dreams and impossible task
Will be considered, just come in and ask.

Longing to touch us in forever’s tomorrow
Is worth a surrender to the Keeper of Sorrow.

hey its been a while since i read one of your writes... im missing out. lol! you posses the ability to write what dark writers would call dark writes, yet you turn the style around to make it meaningful and with all but darkness... this poem displays that ability very well. without listening to the words correctly, people could easily take this as a dark write. Amazing job sister of the pen.

Hi, I just wanted to greet the greeter. I know, it's weird... because I'm new to All Poetry... But I think it's cool you're trying to greet poets like me. anyway, i think the strongest lines to this piece is:

"Longing to touch us in forever’s tomorrow
Is worth a surrender to the Keeper of Sorrow."

i like the rhyme and the overall flow of the piece when read aloud. I feel like the speaker of this piece is alluding to the notorious dark robed skeleton with a skyth, the so-called-grim-executioner. and that in itself is ambiguous, because he can be taken as an ender of time, ender of life, ect. good job.

The answer is no answer sometimes. Rest my child were words that saved me from a short lifetime of insanity. I wish I could sort all this pain out. God sends someone to me and she leaves? I don't get why we make bad choices.
