Absent Love
As you left on the plane to fly home again
Before it flew out I was in tears, missing you.
Sweet darling, my heart aches with pain
Every time we part it makes me feel blue.
No one has won my heart the way you do
The love we feel goes beyond describing.
Love walked in the door the day that I met you;
Once we’re married then there’s no leaving
Visions of our life together fills me with hope
Echoes of our time with each other helps me cope.

He lives in one State and I live in another
So we take turns in flying back & forth
to be together. We always miss each other
when we're parted. But it won't be for long.

I hope we'll be as lucky as you, we are 15 hours by car apart and one hour by plane. But I'll move down there soon to be with him, then we'll get married.

I know the feelings you describe so very well. My gal and me are living together since a few months and it goes fantastic So i ask her a week ago in a poem here at ap to marry me. I'm glad that the driving up and down is over I did that for three years. Mostly by car but sometimes on my bike what means a ride of five hours at high speed (its 150 km or 100 miles)But the loving feeling is such a fantastic feeling it makes you sing and your heart dance. Glad to see youve found your happiness as well. I hope he'll build you a palace were you can live as a princess Hugs Herman
