The waves come crashing down
And melt into the sea
Each crest is but a moment
Thats lost eternally

I’m lost within that moment
That’s deeper than the sea
And in each crashing wave
I see just you and me

The rocky shore caressed
With foamy fingertips
Tossing time within its surf
And sailing love’s swift ships

I lose them in the tide
