Stars hanging over parking lots
The stain of falling rain drops
Vision blurred by eyes of tears
Revealing all our secret fears.
An embrace followed by a promise
Never will I ever forget this
A quick kiss, a gentle sigh
Tear streaked cheeks begin to dry.
I'm vulnerable, a little scared.
Surprised by everything I shared
My hand in his, his eyes on me
