This world doesn't deal kindly with us
And we all grow old and die
Except those who never grow old
In a hundred years we’ll all be forgotten
And none of it will have mattered
So that will be our legacy
Just a faded memory
All our struggles will mean nothing
As it all turns to dust
It will all slip from our fingers
As our body grows cold
And our eyes close forever
Maybe it wasn't’t so important
I should have loved more
Because now is all that matters
Tomorrow doesn't’t care about today
And it wouldn't’t change a thing anyways
More smiles, more laughs, more happiness
Because it’s all to short to worry too much
The little things will take care of themselves
They always seem to do
Just don’t damn ourselves
By worrying about dreams of grandeur
Take your fame, and take your fortune
I’ll settle for love, I can take that to my grave
