Said goodbye to my feelings and walked out the door.
I gave you my love but you turned it away.
You make me ashamed to face another day.
Just leave me in the corner to rot and die,
Don't worry about the tears I shed from my eyes.
Forget about our past, move on from me please.
Don't remember the times I begged on my knees.
But do me this favour, just one. Please. For me.
Ignore all those times when we would disagree,
But instead remember the days when we'd laugh,
And when you thought that I was your missing half.

This poem expresses very clearly something most people feel at some time in their life. Very well written! Your question/comment space cracked MY ass up!!! ...even the . at the end added to my laughter. Thanks for the great poem and the early morning laugh. Believe me, that's not an easy thing to accomplish.
