the day is proceeding as normal
when a dark shadow passes over the moment
flames spit from a large metallic tube
a life is ended
a life is changed
panic is created
after physical chaos has ended
internal chaos finds it way into all involved
all you can do is vent
vent the anger built inside
vent the sorrow
vent the tears
the family of the boy who found a bullet a bit to close
shall find an empty seat at the dinner table tonight
tears will flood there eyes
and they will forever ask themselves
why did this shadows cast over our boy
why did the shadow choose him
and to the shadow the victim of devilish disease
it is sitting in a room with no one around
contemplating his past
contemplating his future
will he have little repent
or will his soul forever be chained to earth
the shadow was once a person like many involved in the chaos
but once he pulled the trigger
and ended a life out of anger
he made himself no longer human
but instead a dark shadow
that will forever be on a list of retribution
these dark days come and go all the time
but sometimes the feelings never leave
and the only advice i can give anyone
is to vent
venting will relieve your feelings if only for a little while
so you can instead dwell on the good times
so please vent away
