Close your eyes,
Don’t let the light seep through,
Let sleep take over,
And think of me too.

Close your eyes,
Turn away from day,
Block out the unfeeling sunlight,
Let your dreams take way.

Close your eyes,
Let the silent masquerade,
Take you into the frenzied waltz,
And release the mask within you, that does fade.

Close your eyes,
You’re safe there,
In your dreams,
No matter when or where.

Close your eyes,
As my dreams flow into yours,
Lock away all the anguish,
Behind cold, closed doors.

Close your eyes,
Let the pursuit begin,
Let your enraptured thoughts take way,
They take you through devilish sin.

Close your eyes,
The time is near,
For you to sleep eternally,
A time of which, you must not fear.

Close your eyes,
Let the hypnotic waves take you under,
With their cries, soft as candle light,
Or as loud as thunder.

Close your eyes,
The candlelight is burning,
Your eyes are bathed in soft, calming light,
Your heart is quickly learning.

Close your eyes, once more,
Don’t let them steal your candlelight,
The candlelight is fading,
As you writhe in endless night.

Close your eyes, now,
Don’t let garish light force endeavour,
Close your eyes now,
Forever...
