Knocked down

I resent you
I need you to go
I want you
You always say no
You play with my heart
You claim that you won’t
I want you to like me
You do then you don’t
You say that you care
You give me your time
Sometimes you mock me
Sometimes you shine
You claim that you love
It happens so fast
It’s then that you end it
You say it’s your past
How many hearts are bruised and are torn?
How many women are feeling forlorn?
One day I’ll like you
You’ll be just a friend
For now I feel battered
Will my heart ever mend?

    Inprerational

Sad stuff Vicky but it's right up there with your best I enjoyed the whole poem but two lines stand out for me I dont know why but they are.How many hearts are bruised and torn.
How many women are feeling forlorn.Great wording the whole way through then these two lines of power near enough to the end to make them hang in my memory it's a great poem all round.
