To believe in what can not yet be seen
is to have faith in your heart God is true.
We believe He created the world alone
putting things in order for me and you.
Without having faith we can not please God
when we honestly seek God's spoken word
We must approach and believe in our hearts
rewards are plenty when praises are heard.
Enoch was rewarded for pleasing God
he would not experience death at all.
God had taken him away from this life
commended him for obeying God's law.
Noah too had faith of the coming flood
although these things were not yet seen.
He built an ark to save his family
then became heir by having faith within.
Issac and Jacob were also God's heirs.
by faith Abraham seeks the promised lands
looking for a city with foundations
the architect and builder were God's hands.
By faith they were tempted and some slain
they wandered being destitute too.
roamed in deserts, mountains and in caves
they were commended for all they would do.

beautiful. Congrats! -
WOW! You really covered a lot of ground and Bible here! All that found in Hebrews 11 yet it covers a major part of Old Testament history. Old and New... still faith was needed!
I think you really did a good job in the writing of this. You put it all together and gave some really good pictures of faith. This is an outstanding entry! Thank you so much for entering! ~Melissa -
