A boy like you
sweet as can be.
Is in love with a girl
a girl named Emily.
You write your thoughts
all day and night.
Hoping to change her mind
hoping she'll see the light.
Never meeting you
I can see your pain.
reading your words
makes me cry like pouring rain.
The colors of sadness
appear on your page.
locking you up
in a depressing cage.
You must not give up
on finding true love
just let your feelings out
and love will be sent from above.
This girl you write about
is your friend I can see.
Just be true like you are
and maybe you two were meant to be.
Write your heart out
like you do.
let her see
what she never knew.
You are a poet
who writes from the heart.
A poet who is love with another
painting your words in poetry art.
I know I never met you
but you inspire me so.
I wish you the best of luck
and never let go what you know.
Author notes
I wrote this poem for and about a boy with the allpoetry name: stephans1898. I wrote this poem for a contest called: "Get to know a poet day!" and I went searching for a random poet and his work inspired me. There wasn't much about this boy on his page though. Mostly about a gurl he loves and poems mostly about love. I commented on 3 of his poems called:

* Be My Valentine
* Is It Possible

Wow i like the title pf this poem.This piece seems different than all the other peoms that I read.I don't know what makes it different but it is lol.Its deep and full of emotion and I love it. I like how u described this person he sounds very nice. I liked the lines: Never meeting you
