darker miles

The day breaks the blackened wind,
The golden sun sets and spins.
Upon silence sits the light,
forever under the melting sky.
Traveling far and even farther ahead down this darkknit street,
deliverance shines through your soul as man apart fully sleeps.
Remembered paths taken yesturday, of roads below now froze,
many miles walked endlessly as the band played,
my heart is cold.

My first impression was a sense of regret and sorrow, yet a glimmer of hope.
