The First Flower of Spring

My favourite time of spring
is when all the flowers grow,
brighter than a dimond ring
pretty like the snow.

Daffodils are flowing
in the light breeze,
glistening and glowing
inside are bumble bees.

Blue bells are swaying
the sun is shining bright,
the children are all playing
what a beautiful sight.

    Great!

I love the ABAB rhyme scheme!
    Also, this is beautiful:

    Blue bells are swaying
    the sun is shining bright,
    the children are all playing
    what a beautiful sight.

The meter is beautifuly conducted also! Keep it up!

This poem has reminded me that there is something of this annoyingly cold winter England is having this year. Thanks. Very well written and a beautiful write. You have left me longing for the spring!

This is beautifully written. So delicate and innocent. I am looking forward to the spring! This reminds me of how beatiful the spring is!
