Guess I feel like the old lady who lived in a shoe
so many allpoetry children I don't know what to do.
They are a blessing but are so many to remember
with so many birthdays from January to December.
So I guess I will just have to be an old granny boot
since I am quite hip maybe blue suede would suit.
Work boots are nice when found under the bed
loving with our passion till good morning is said.
Motorcycle boots to take me on the ride of my life
to take me away from the heartache and strife.
Hiking boots to climb the steepest hill around
as things go wrong and they crash to the ground.
Or maybe a hip boot when my life seems a mess
to wade through the crap, plod through the stress.
Snow boots are warm just like a heart full of love
rain boots keep me dry when tears fall from above.
Or maybe an army boot to keep the kids all in line
strong and very sturdy and like the sun they shine.
find an AP dad for the kids in an army battalion
I might be a cowgirl boot, rope me a fine stallion.
Combat boots when you're looking for a fight
the possibilities are endless so a boot I'll be.
But remember these boots are made for walking
so you better remember to be very nice to me.

well i think you covered a wide spectrum of boots and you did it so well.i think i like the line about the rain boots the best though.great image too.this is a real contender for the contest.

What creativity here - any other kinds of shoes, boots you missed here? Really a funny verse to read - easy to understand as well. Good rhythm and rhyme - very creative.
