Wandering Paul Salmon

My thoughts of you are wandering streams,
Where salmon skip across the water's surface,
They start low down in the valleys
And ascend up the mountains
And then descend again to earth,

You bring love to all you meet,
And you also bring meat to all you love.
You are the essence of nature and serenity
What can be compared to you?
Cigarettes?
Door frames?
Onion rings?
No, none of these,
For your love is...
It is...
It's indescribable for lesser poets than myself.
But I am a master of the craft so yes, I can describe such innocent beauty.

I fell in love with you like one would a sunset,
You are too beautiful to be hidden from all that would care to notice.
And I love you too much to try to hold on to you forever,
I cannot begin to imagine when you began or where you began or what you began or anything you might begin in the near future.

I just know that you exist in my heart, my head, even my hands...
In my heart is love.
In my head is happiness.
In my hands are your norks.

    sensual bliss

long time no c hiraldo, once again you have produced an outstandingly crafted piece of work, and the mention of norks in any poem, takes the cake in my book. i bet some chickybabe out there is felling as wrapped as birdman in a pool of port wine jelly, to hear such an emotion driven poem directed towards her.
well, keep on keepin on mate, this little bunneys got a date with a carrot.

    Sterling stuff

This rocked the box like you wouldn't believe! After wondering for years how norks would look in a poem I now have to wonder no longer.

Thanks for the spelling correction, man. The poem is complete now...not that it ever wasn't.

Yes it is self-explanatory (now watch me get it wrong, lol.) I'm an Agnostic, and thus find it very comforting to see others who believe, and have that inner-peace. Beyond the religious import, the poem itself is quite beautiful...except maybe the last word, lol. Being an American I had to look up its meaning.
