Unhurried

Taunt, to breaking point
her nerves jangle with
every pinprick of sound,
surrounding her privately
erected cocoon;
Hidden deep within, the
pulsating throb of racing blood
churns at an electrifying rate
across the cerebral hemisphere;
Adrenalin surges..relief pours
into every vestige of of her very being;
Caught in this whirlwind of
euphoria...she hesitates;
Leap and take the consequences..
or pause and take the safe path
sure in its footing;
To hell and back is a journey
not known for its safety..
so care is required;
As a new-born struggling
to come to grips with this
alien world, she looks tentatively
around...will they look down
on such a novice..or will
they embrace a familiar love,
of the written word.............................

    well...to be honest this world of poetry is rather like a labyarinth (spelling )...many hidden pitfalls so who knows what path she will finally take
