Configuration

Your soul

like the
configuration in

atoms
of electrons starts with
very simple emotions like passion

and need
but branches out with complex
thoughts and feelings until there are ten or
fourteen parts connected to one level of real being

Author notes

taking a break from chem homework.  to explain, this is based on the electron configuration...
2 electrons on the first sublevel of the first level
8 electrons in the second level, in sublevels of 2 and 6
18 in the third level, in sublevels of 2, 6, and 10
32 in the forth level, in sublevels of 2, 6, 10, and 14
so the syllables in each line correspond to the sublevels, and each stanza is one level

That's awesome, you combined chemistry and poetry. Really great and interesting. I've done stuff like this before (actually more elaborate) but I've never actually done the homework Genius!

    With out the chemistry links
(because I am so bad at it)

Its a great poem and very true, I love the form of the poem its great,

I actually throught your poem would go off in a compleatly different direction, but thankfully it didn't only because then I would have said that it was too predictable.

The form of your poem works well.

    Well done
