Midnight Stroll

A whispered voice calls
I dream a silent reply
Sleeping eyes open

Tempered droplets fall
Azure memories ebb past
Splintered silver falls

Whet blades sharpen steps
Ruby, emerald, cobalt
Blunt gait falls staggered

Wisp of sound breaks steps
Crystalline lips burst gasping
Rain poisons her verse

Movements speed slowly
Poisoned limbs swing chilled
Blades grow in haste

Diamond voice cries
Swords of Natures make bar path
Ruby joins cobalt

Splinters burn fresh cuts
Forward and down movements halt
Waking eyes open

    Great imagery

Very nicely put. I like "rain poisons her verse" Eloquent and painful.
